About E-Vote-ID
The E-Vote-ID conference is the leading international event for e-voting experts from all over the world during the first week of October. After few years in Bregenz (Austria), the conference started itinerating (Luxembourg 2023, Tarragona 2024). With over 270 presentations spanning eight editions, and drawing more than 1200 participants, E-Vote-ID serves as a pivotal forum for interdisciplinary dialogue on electronic voting. Its core objective is to foster open discussion on a broad spectrum of topics encompassing electronic voting technologies, from polling stations and kiosks to ballot scanners and Internet voting.
Structured as a three-day meeting with no parallel sessions, the conference offers ample opportunity for informal communication and networking. It provides a platform where specialists from academia, politics, government, and industry converge to delve into the multifaceted dimensions of electronic voting and digital democracy. Embracing its interdisciplinary nature, the conference features four regular tracks alongside a dedicated PhD colloquium:
- Track 1: Security, Usability, and Technical Issues
- Track 2: Governance Issues
- Track 3: Election and Practical Experiences
